Creating of a new journal pursue several aims. Firstly, to set the standard for legal research in the field of scientific periodicals. We are speaking of a lengthy articles that go through double-blind review by a representative group of reviewers. The second equally important goal – to provide information on the Russian legal research for foreign scientists. Initially, most of the materials are in Russian, but with an extensive summary in English and a bibliography in Roman letters, later we will add translations of the articles into English. One of the practical goals – is to achieve the inclusion of the journal in international library databases and citation systems (Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCO, and others.). Also editors intent to create a pool of qualified scientists in the field of law, offering them an open platform for scientific discussion.
Editors have vast experience in successful preparation of two scientific journals: «Russian Juridical Journal» – scientific and theoretical information and practical journal with 20-year history, indexed by EBSCO Host, Ulrich's ™, ERIH PLUS, RISC; «Electronic Supplement to the "Russian Juridical Journal"» – electronic scientific periodical for young researchers and the platform for discussion of new scientific ideas, indexed by RISC. The new edition will help to realize ideas that could not be achieved within the framework of existing projects.
